Almost 25,000 babies are born in Western Australia each year. Many of the parents of these newborn are embarking on the challenge of caring for a child for the first time. The West Australian BabyWA Expo has emerged as a natural extension to the enormously successful launch of the BabyWA reference guide first released in May 2004.
Visitors to the Expo will enjoy being able to use their entry ticket to the BabyWA Expo to explore the rest of EveryWoman On Show including the EveryWoman Expo, Craft, the Craft and Antique and Collector’s Fair, The West Australian Wedding Guide Expo and Artitude. Similarly, visitors to each of the other feature events will be able to enter The West Australian BabyWA Expo for free.
Like the guide, The West Australian BabyWA Expo will feature topics on parenting, child development and health issues. The Expo will also showcase exhibitors with equipment, products and services relevant to parents experiencing or about to experience the first breathtaking years with their newborn, including a new Maternity Fashion Warehouse. Visitors will be able to access a broad range of advice from support groups, government departments and professional associations. There’ll be plenty of activities for the kids and changing and feeding facilities for the mums.
