Wilderness Four Wheel Drive Adventures have been operating tours throughout the Top End and Kimberley region since 1990. Specializing in small group nature based tours for fit and active people who have a thirst for knowledge and a love of nature.
Tours aim to take people to more isolated areas and among the many features offered are bushwalking, swimming and rock climbing. Wilderness Four Wheel Drive Adventures hold many permits that allow entry to restricted and uncrowded destinations throughout the Kimberley and the Top End. Tour success is attributed to the commitment in providing visitors with a quality product that surpasses their expectations.
The tour guides are professional and well versed on all aspects of the Top End and the Kimberley region. The majority of the guides have over six years guiding experience and are all highly enthusiastic about showing local wildlife to their passengers. Accredited by Parks Australia to operate tours, all guides have completed courses in minimal impact techniques and all hold a current Senior First Aid Certificate. Wilderness Four Wheel Drive Adventures provides an excellent product for passengers wishing to obtain specific information about the environment they are travelling in along and gaining a good understanding of how ecosystems work.
Products are aimed predominantly at the budget traveller and backpacker markets. Due to the quality and knowledgeable staff and the very nature-based style, tours attract nature-orientated people who do not just wish to be on a party tour. Main clientele consists of fit, active people who range in age from 18 to 40 years. Tours are designed to be both informative and fun.
