Cairns is the nearest airport - one hour and fifteen minutes away. Hiring a car from the airport is best as that will give you transport to sightsee this incredible region of lakes, waterfalls and national parks.

Yungaburra has 28 heritage listed buildings. We are also lucky to have award winning restaurants all within walking distance of the cottages. The village has speciality outlets with our talented local timber workers expertise on show. A gem gallery and many other attractions. The surrounding areas have wineries, coffee works and timber works.The lakes and national parks are a walkers and birdwatchers delight.
