Bordering World Heritage Rainforest on the beautiful Atherton Tablelands and just an hours’ scenic drive from tropical Cairns you will discover our unique, luxury accommodation.

Four very individual, themed cottages are nestled in the rainforest. Birds and other abundant wildlife are right at your doorstep. Each cottage contains a spa bath, king bed, and wood fire heater, plus extras such as complimentary port and chocolates, fresh flowers, candles and books. Prepare your breakfast hamper in the full kitchen and enjoy it on your deck.

Swim in the safe pristine Lake Eacham in Crater Lakes National Park, just a stroll away.

A minimum of 48 hours notice is required by this property for cancellations.

Extra Guest / Children
Extra guests including children and infants are an extra $40 per person per night. Extra guests are accommodated on the sofa/bed in the lounge area.


How to get to Crater Lakes Rainforest Cottages
Due to limited public transport on the Tablelands, self drive is a necessity.

From Cairns, head south to Gordonvale and journey up the Gillies Range. Turn left at the Lake Eacham Roadhouse. Turn left into the National Park. Drive throught the rainforest. 700m past the lake, take the left turn into Eacham Close. Follow the signs from here.

If you are coming from a somewhere other than Cairns, please ask for specific directions.

Out and About
If you can manage to drag yourself away from your cottage and the birds and pademelons, take a walk to nearby Lake Eacham, and swim in her safe pristine waters.

We are central to all the wonderful natural attractions in our area, and close to the heritage village of Yungaburra.

Other Facilities:
Although it is cooler up here than on the coast, we do get a few warm days. So if required, airconditioning is an optional extra $10 per night.

There is undercover carparking available at your cottage.
