We are proud winners of the Prestigious Douglas Shire Council Developing Sustainable Communities Award. We pride ourselves on offering spotlessly clean, comfortable rooms, top quality linen,overlooking jungle & tropical gardens. Our great saltwater swimming pool is set amidst tropical gardens and our recent addition is s small restaurant catering for breakfast and evening meals. We are proud to be an eco establishment and care about the future of our planet.

How to get to Daintree Rainforest Retreat
The Retreat is 90 kilometres north of Cairns Airport, and is accessible via an all weather sealed road by car and daily bus service.
We can also arrange for you to fly into the forest by light plane or helicopter, on one of our exclusive charters.

Out and About
Explore the 100 Million year old Rainforest by Bushwalking, Scenic drive, 4x4 Adventures, Light Plane, Helicopter, Cruises, Guided Nightwalks, Croc spotting, Bird watching, Frog & Bug hunting, Jungle Surfing. Explore the award winning Discovery Environment centre.
Swim, Snorkel, Dive or Fish the Great Barrier Reef. Take a Helicopter flight to a Coral Cay where you can swim or snorkel and refresh yourself with an Australian wine or beer.
Stroll along deserted beaches, Kayak out to offshore islands, swim in crystal clear streams and of course our salt water pool.
Try tropical fruits, ice cream and fine dining at many of the area's restaurants.
But most of all do not forget your camera, as the rare Cassowary is a regular visitor to our grounds.
