How to get to Dalrymple Tourist Van Park |

We are on the Lynd Highway 2 kilometres to the north of Charters Towers. From the east (Townsville which is 130 kilometres away) come straight ahead towards town until you see the "Lynd & Undara" sign, turn right and we are 500 metres up the road.
From the south and west, turn left at the "City Centre" sign, drive right up the main street, at the T junction (the Information Centre will be directly ahead) turn right, we are 2 kilometres along this road.

Charters Towers is a city rich in history of the bygone gold rush days. you can walk or drive around the sights and see the wonderful old buildings. or see the "Ghosts of Gold" video at the Towers Hill Lookout after dark. Or relive the hardships at the Venus Gold Battery.
Sporting events are plentiful and the Tors Drive-in Theatre (one of only 6 in Queensland) screens every weekend.

Wireless internet is available for our guests and the first 30 minutes is FREE!! We also have an internet kiosk available 24 hours a day.
Fax and photcopying facilities and use of a safe are all available at Dalrymple's office.

The Golf Course is right next door and we can hire you golf equipment, even carts.
Our sauna is wood fired and cedar lined and is the best way to relax.
We have a beautiful resort style tropical pool with wading area and there is a jumping pillow for the children. BBQs are located throughout the park and a laundry is on site.
We are close to all sights around Charters Towers and also to restaurants and yet we are peacefully quiet. |
