Children 12 years and under stay and eat free at the resort restaurant, eating from the buffet or childrens menu, when staying and dining with a full paying adult using existing bedding. When only one adult is travelling with children, the Sole Use adult rate will apply to the booking. Extra guest rates are available on request.


How to get to Dunk Island by Voyages
Dunk Island is located approximately 4 kilometres off the Tropical North Queensland coast (the township of Mission Beach), midway between Townsville and Cairns. Regular flights are available from all major Australian capital cities to Dunk Island via Cairns with Qantas, Virgin Blue and Jetstar. From Cairns you can choose between a scenic air transfer or a coach and boat transfer to Dunk Island.

Air Transfer
Hinterland Aviation operates flights between Cairns Airport and Dunk Island up to 3 times daily. Alternatively, if you would prefer a private transfer charter flights are also available. Flights take approximately 45 minutes. Passengers must advise their connecting flight details at least 7 days prior to departure for coach transfers from the main terminal at Cairns to the Hinterland Aviation terminal.

Coach & Boat Transfer
Mission Beach Dunk Island Connections operate services between Northern Beaches, Cairns Airport and Cairns City three times daily to connect with the Quickcat to Dunk Island. Port Douglas and Silky Oaks transfers are available on request. Transfer time is approximately 2.5 hours from Cairns Airport to Dunk Island. Boat Transfer
The Quickcat departs Clump Point (2 hours south of Cairns) to Dunk Island and return twice daily. The transfer takes approximately 20 minutes each way. To book please contact Quickcat on +61 7 4068 7289.
