How to get to Eden House Retreat and Mountain Spa

Self driving from Cairns via the Kuranda Range, Rex Range, Gillies Highway or Palmerston Highway. There are numerous car hire companies in Cairns, and only a comfortable one hour drive from the airport.
Eden House is located in the heart of Yungaburra village, with clearly visible signage on the main road.

Out and About

Eden House is located right in the heart of historic Yungaburra, a scenic one hour drive from Cairns or four hours from Townsville. While we are only an easy hour up from the coastal tropics, we have a refreshingly different climate to the sweltering, lowland summer heat. Winters can be crisp and cool, and our summers are naturally air conditioned.
Yungaburra is central to all of the beautiful natural attractions of the Atherton Tableland, including the picturesque crater lakes of Eacham and Barrine, stunning waterfalls and rainforests, and the easily accessible outback of the breathtaking Undara Volcanic Park.
Local attractions include the coffee plantations of Mareeba at Coffee Works and Skybury, hot air ballooning at sunrise with Hot Air Balloon Flights, nocturnal wildlife spotting, waterskiing and sailing on Lake Tinaroo and bushwalking in the beautiful waterfall and rainforest national parks.
Even the Great Barrier Reef is only a day trip away.
