How to get to Island Gateway Holiday Park
BY AIR
fly with Qantas, Jetstar or Virgin into either:
a. Proserpine/Whitsunday Coast Airport & then bus shuttle transfers from the airport to the park by Whitsunday Shuttle Service
or
b. fly into Hamilton Island and take a ferry transfer to Shute Harbour with Fantasea Cruises or Cruise Whitsunday. Guests can bus with Whitsunday Transit or taxi from Shute Harbour to Island to the park.
BY ROAD
We are north of Mackay and south of Bowen. Turn off the Bruce Highway towards Proserpine and follow the signs to Airlie Beach. There's only one main road and one way into Airlie - along Shute Harbour Road. We're about 1.2km from the centre of the main street of Airlie towards Shute Harbour, on the corner of Shute Harbour Rd and Jubilee Pocket Rd, on the right hand side opposite the Jubilee Tavern.
BY TRAIN
Queensland Rail stops at Proserpine and meets with bus connections to Airlie by Whitsunday Transit.
BY BUS
Greyhound offers regular services from regional and capital cities.
