How to get to Maroochy Sands

Maroochy Sands is located on the corner of Sixth Avenue and Aerodrome Road Maroochydore (directly opposite McDonalds) Taxis and bus transfers are available from Maroochydore airport which is around 10 minutes drive away.

Out and About

There are a number of attractions to see locally including Underwaterworld, Dive the HMAS Brisbane, Eumundi markets, Australia Zoo, The Big Pineapple, The Ginger Factory and of course our beautiful beaches and hinterland. Shopping at Sunshine Plaza is a dream with all the big brands and names you need. There are many scenic drives as well that will take in the coast and hinterland areas. Dont forget to stop in Montville and let your tastebuds run riot. Deep sea fishing charters are run from both Mooloolaba and Noosa as well as ocean jet boats for the thrill seekers. Whale watching tours are as close as Mooloolaba. They also operate from Redcliffe which is just an hours drive away or alternately Hervey Bay which takes a little longer. Overall there is so much to see and do on the Sunshine Coast that you will never hear those famous words "Mum I'm bored!"

Instructions for after hours key collection

Check in is at 1.00pm. Arrivals between 2pm and 5pm please phone prior to travelling. Arrivals after 5pm must phone prior to travelling to obtain a key lock box code. Late check outs can be requested subject to availability.
