The White Cockatoo has two distinct seasons with two different methods of operation.
Currently - Until 1st October ’08 - The White Cockatoo is Operating Primarily as a Fully Clothed Conventional Family Resort.
From 1st October ’08 to 1st March ’09 - The White Cockatoo will operate primarily as a Nudist Resort - Not Clothing Optional. Reservations are not able to be made via this site for after October 1st.

Please be aware that no matter the season non-nudists will never encounter nude people, nor will nudists privacy be invaded by clothed people.

Bookings are not possible from this site for the Nude Season, i.e. from 1st October. All Nude Season reservations must be made directly.

The White Cockatoo is located 1 hour (72km's) north of Cairns at Mossman - The Gateway To The Daintree - 10 minutes (14km's) from Port Douglas.
Regular bus services operate from Cairns.

The White Cockatoo is centrally located for all the areas attractions, with tours available to all.
Only 300 metres from the World Heritage listed Mossman Gorge, A few kilometres from the true Tropics - The Daintree - and only 10 minutes from Bill Clintons playground at Port Douglas, and perfectly located for all tour transfers to one of the worlds natural wonders The Great Barrier Reef.
