How to get to Waters Edge Resort |
|
Fly into Whitsunday Coast Airport with Jetstar or Virgin Blue. Phone resort to arrange airport transfers (approx 45 minutes) to beautiful Airlie Beach.
Alternatively you may wish to fly into Hamilton Island and hop on Blue Ferries to the mainland (approx. 1 hour). Once on the mainland, taxi's are available to bring you into town.
Reception is open from 8.30am - 5.30pm Monday to Fri and 8.30am - 2.00pm on Sat/Sundays. If arriving outside of these times please contact the resort the day of arrival to be advised on our late check in procedure.

From the resort it is only a short distance by bus or car to some of the beautiful National Parks where you can walk for hours on end enjoying the beauty of North Queenslands native trees and wildlife. You can also book guided tours from the Tour Desk, such as daily tours to Cedar Creek Falls or an Eco Tour over the Proserpine River to watch some estuarine crocodiles.
Water’s Edge does not only have a spectacular view overlooking the Marine Park but also gives you the opportunity to book trips that enter this Marine Park by boat, seaplane or helicopter. A myriad of recreational activities such as sailing, snorkelling, scuba diving, fishing or island hopping can be booked from the resort including trips to the Great Barrier Reef and the many Whitsunday Islands.
