How to get to Abbotsford Country House
From Central Adelaide
Follow King William Street which becomes O’Connell Street until you arrive to the intersection of Prospect Rd (straight ahead), Barton Terrace (to your left) and Main North Rd (on your right).
Follow the Main North Rd until you get to Gawler. This will take about thirty minutes. Take the first turn off to your left that indicates Gawler town Centre and the Barossa Valley.
Follow this continuation of Main North Rd all the way through Gawler’s outer suburbs until you arrive in the main street, Murray Street. Virtually at the end of Murray Street, you will see the signs for the Lyndoch on the right hand corner. Turn right there.
Follow the Barossa Valley Highway for approximately fifteen minutes until you approach Barossa Caravan Park on your right. About 100 metres ahead on your left is Yaldara Drive where you will see our blue directional finger sign.
Turn there and follow the road about one kilometre and Yaldara Drive turns right. Follow it down six hundred metres and our driveway entrance is on the left. You shouldn’t miss our roadside sign.


From Adelaide Airport
From the Terminal, follow Airport Road to the first major intersection and turn right on to Sir Donald Bradman Drive.Follow this major road until you see the Hilton Hotel and turn left into South Road.
Follow south Road for about 8 km and you will arrive at Grand Junction Road. Turn right here and proceed along here until you get to the Gepps Cross intersection. turn left here on to Main North Road
Follow the Main North Rd until you get to Gawler. This will take about thirty minutes. Take the first turn off to your left that indicates Gawler town Centre and the Barossa Valley.
Follow this continuation of Main North Rd all the way through Gawler’s outer suburbs until you arrive in the main street, Murray Street. Virtually at the end of Murray Street, you will see the signs for the Lyndoch on the right hand corner. Turn right there.
Follow the Barossa Valley Highway for fifteen minutes until you approach a small caravan park on your right. About 100 metres ahead on your left is Yaldara Drive where you will see our blue directional finger sign.

Out and About
Enjoy a glass of wine (from our extensive cellar) and a good book in the lounge/library. Or relax on our wide verandahs with a beer and snooze the day away.

You might wish to play petanque or boule on the sunken lawn, enjoy a round of golf at a local golf course or take a walk to one of the neighbouring wineries. Whatever you choose, you won’t be short of things to do.
