Nestled in the historic Armagh Valley at the edge of the Clare township is this 1860s stone cottage on a boutique vineyard. Old orchards, wine and olive cellar doors are within walking distance and bicycle hire is available. Accommodation is provided for up to six guests in spacious rooms with polished floors and early Australian furniture. Thick stone walls, reverse cycle air conditioning and open fires ensure comfort and ambience. A choice of queen bedrooms is available, with crisp linen included in the tariff. The bathroom has heated flooring, a claw-foot bath and separate shower. Thick fluffy towels and fragrant oil soaps are provided. Overlooking the cottage garden and adjacent olive grove is the sitting room with open fireplace, DVD player and television. The dining room opens to a large verandah with views over vines to the bush and creek. The country kitchen, close to the barbecue and wisteria covered patio, is fully equipped with modern appliances for short and long stays.
