There is also a spot of fishing on the mighty Murray or for the more active, skiing. Take a hike along the scenic walkway meandering beside the river from the Jane Eliza Estate to Paringa. You may like to visit the historic homestead of the Chaffey Brothers, Olivewood or just relax with a book and listen to the many birds in the large shady trees in the lovely gardens at Bookmark Orchard.
