How to get to Desert Cave Hotel

The Desert Cave Hotel is located in the centre of Coober Pedy and is easily found along Hutchison Street.

There currently is NO TAXI service in Coober Pedy and you can organise Airport, Bus and Train transfers with and to the Desert Cave Hotel when making your booking.

* Access to the opal field mullock heaps for an experience in noodling (fossicking).

Entry to the Mine where you will be supplied with a hard hat, torch and handpick to get "Down'n'Dirty" and find your fortune.

Please have your credit card or debit card at hand. For guests arriving by early morning bus or arriving via the Ghan (train) guests ae required to pre-register in so that a room is available for your arrival prior to 2.00 pm.
