How to get to Sundowner Clare Valley Motel
From Adelaide take the Main North Road, following the signs to Gawler. Take the Gawler Bypass road, continue until you see the Clare Valley Tourist Region sign, turn left and follow Main North Road all the way to Clare. The Sundowner Clare Valley Motel is located on the left just past the Visitor Information Centre. We are a large white building located up on the hillside overlooking Main North Road.
If coming via Bus from Adelaide, the Bus will drop you in the township of Clare, we are located 1.5kms south of the CBD.

The Clare Valley is one of Australia's most famous wine producing regions and a fascinating place for connoiseurs of both wine and history to spend some time. The Riesling Trail is a 27km pathway ideal for cyclists and walkers (mountain bikes available for hire). Built on the old railway line between Clare and Auburn the trail provides a special link between the villages of the Valley. Passing through some of the most varied and picturesque country in the Clare Valley, the trail operates in both directions with gentle gradients.
