Great value! Absolute waterfront cabin & bungalow complex with simple 3 star holiday cabins at an great value price. Suitable for families and family groups. KIDS STAY FREE. For those interested in water skiing, fishing, or just building sand castles. Great base for working on the Coast or for those relocating to the area.Stay in a self-contained one bedroom ensuite bungalow or two bedroom cabin. All units have own bathroom and kitchen (incl full stove). All units accommodate 2 adults & 2 children but some take up to 4 children. The bungalows & cabins offer simple budget accommodation. Its quiet, friendly and relaxing. Come & stay awhile!All waterfront cabins & bungalows are located within 20 metres of the waters edge. All gardenview bungalows are away from the water in the tropical garden atmosphere.
How to get to Maroochy River Resort & Bungalows
Maroochydore is located in the heart of the Sunshine Coast in sunny Queensland, just 100 kms north of Brisbane, Queensland. Flights are available directly into Maroochydore airport on Qantas or Virgin Blue. The airport is approximately 10 minutes driving to the north east of Maroochy River Bungalows. When driving, whether it be from north or south, it is easiest to get onto the Sunshine Motorway (which runs through the Sunshine Coast from north to south) and head towards Maroochydore. Take the Bli Bli/ Bradman Avenue Exit and follow the signs towards Bli Bli keeping the river on your right. Approximately 2 km along you will cross a bridge and the water will then be on your left. Across the water you will see our little complex. Being located right on the water means that if you are interested in water skiing, fishing, etc youll be right at home (no crocodiles), or if you like it a little easier, the nearby barramundi farm makes the fishing that much easier. The attractions of the coast from the scenic walks of the Glasshouse Mountains and the famous Australia Zoo in the south, the arts and crafts of Maleny/Montville to the west or the fantastic cafes and shops of Noosa to the north are all within an easy drive.Alternatively the closer cafes, night spots, beaches (no stingers) and Underwater World at Mooloolaba are within 10 minutes drive. Even closer attractions include Bli Bli Fairytale Castle, Nostalgia Town, the barramundi farm and the Cable Water ski park - all are within 2 minutes drive.
