The Plantation is set in a 21 acre private estate surrounded by pristine bushland and State Forests. The award winning design includes eight fully air conditioned accommodation guest rooms, all appointed with luxurious bed and bath linen, L’Occitane guest toiletries and waffle bath robes. Each guest room opens onto a stunning
wrap-around tiled veranda with sweeping views of the surrounding estate.

Luxuriously appointed yet casual and welcoming, this boutique accommodation venue is large enough for conferences and weddings yet private enough for intimate house parties. Beyond the gated entrance and up the imposing tree lined drive, the property offers a secluded homestead which overlooks the courtyard, pool and central fountain as well as the Paulownia Plantation and Summerhouse beyond.

All rooms are individually styled and have an elegant country-house feel where comfort is paramount. Natural fabrics, like Italian linens, cottons, wools and silks add to the feeling of understated luxury. The décor at the hotel is contemporary classic in style. Refreshingly cool, neutral walls provide a calming backdrop for the eclectic mix of international styles that have been featured within the homestead. A general “Plantation” theme features throughout the estate and a deliciously eccentric ‘pineapple’ motif, an age old symbol of hospitality, is subtly echoed in the interior décor.

How to get to The Plantation
We are situated just 1.4km from the township of Cooroy (which has a train station) and 20 minutes by car from Noosa.

Road Directions from Sunshine Coast Airport, Maroochydore:
From the Sunshine Coast Airport, turn right onto David Low Way. Follow the road, passing underneath the Sunshine Motorway, until you reach a roundabout. Turn right onto Bli Bli Road and follow until you reach the Bruce Highway turnoff. Turn right onto the Bruce Highway and follow the signs passing Yandina, Coolum and Eumundi exits. Stay on Bruce Highway until you see the Cooroy exit. Take exit to the left and follow signs into the main township of Cooroy, turning left onto Myall Street. Stay left as you approach the roundabout. The Victory Hotel will be in front of you. Turn right and drive through the main street of town, this becomes Mary River Road as you leave town. Follow Mary River Road 1km out of town. You will pass tennis courts, the showgrounds and a gymnastics club on your left. Follow the road, past Ponderosa Drive on your left. As you come over the hill, you will see The Plantation sign. The next right turn is into our driveway. Take care when turning. Press the intercom. Welcome!

Follow Airport Drive and turn right onto the Gateway Motorway at the large roundabout, following the signs to the Sunshine Coast. Remain on the Motorway. A sweeping right hand turn will take you onto the Bruce Highway. Be sure to stay in the left hand lanes and look for the signs to the Sunshine Coast. Veer left, remaining on the Bruce Highway and follow for approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes. You will pass Yandina, Coolum and Eumundi exits. Stay on Bruce Highway until you see the Cooroy exit. Out and About
The charming hinterland towns of Montville and Maleny are nearby for day trips as well as Eumundi Markets, Ikatan Day Spa, The Spirit House Restaurant and Cooking School. We are 20 minutes drive from Hastings Street and all that Noosa offers including beautiful beaches and award winning restaurants. Tennis courts, water sports, horse-riding and many other activities can all be organised locally.

Instructions for after hours key collection
Our guest host will greet you on arrival and show you through the property. You will be provided with keys to the main house and your room. If checking in outside office operating hours which is 9.00am to 5.00pm, please let us know.
