In the final, tension-filled seconds before midnight on December 31, Sydney becomes the New Year's Eve capital of the world - a billion eyes focus on the natural amphitheatre that is Sydney Harbour and its magnificent centre-piece, the steel arched Sydney Harbour Bridge, as, on the stroke of midnight, a fireworks display like no other heralds in the New Year.
In 2007, more than a million people gathered around Sydney Harbour to experience the most stunning Harbour Bridge Effect and fireworks display ever seen.
