A collection of military aircraft, aero engines and tanks. The Camden Museum of aviation is privately owned by Harold, Verna and Alan Thomas, and has developed into the largest specialist aircraft collection in Australia, with all exhibits under cover.
The military aircraft, RAAF and Fleet Air Arm, are restored wherever possible to a taxiable (not flyable) standard. Correct wartime markings and comoflage colours are researched with service records and photographs; while authentic cockpit instruments are installed and electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems are made operable wherever possible.

The collection of 72 aircraft engines and equipment, spans the period from a World War 1 rotary, which powered the Sopwith Camels, through to a Rolls Royce Merlin, which powered the Spitfires of the Battle of Britain, also the D.H. Mosquito- on to the pure jet Rolls Royce Avon, which powered the Canberra Bombers, and finally the Bristol Siddeley Thor Ram-Jet, which powered the Bloodhound ground-to-air missiles.
