The Coogee Beach to Maroubra Beach Coastal Walk hugs the cliffs and rocky outcrops of the coastline crossing sandstone rocks offering picturesque views over the Pacific Ocean.
Taking around one hour and forty five minutes (5.3 Kilometres), the southern walk commences in Grant Reserve at the south end of Coogee Beach. The reserve provides an insight into the area's social and environmental history with many interpretive signs highlighting information on Australian coastal flora, or historical aspects of this strip of coastline, such as information on the land holders and shipwrecks that occurred. The walk at stages passes through residential laneways.
Upon arriving at Maroubra, relax in one of the numerous cafes. The 353 Bus from Maroubra will return you to Coogee.
Accessing Coogee: Buses depart regularly from the City (numbers 373, 374) and bring you to Coogee.
