How to get to Del Rio Riverside Resort
Southern & Eastern Suburbs
(Airport)
Travel via Eastern Distributor, Harbour Bridge or Tunnel, Warringah express way to Epping Road and Lane
Cove tunnel, thence M2 and take Pennant Hill exit.
Turn right at top of ramp and then a short distance til you turn left into Castle Hill Rd. Continue to T
intersection and turn right onto the Old Northern Rd and continue all the way to Wisemans Ferry. When you
reach the bottom of the big hill which descends into Wisemans Ferry turn left and follow instructions 1 to 4 at
bottom of page.
Western Suburbs
There are several choices, Silverwater Rd or Homebush Bay Drive via King Georges Rd.
Drive either to Pennant Hills Rd via Marsden St and continue on Pennant Hills Rd until turning left into Castle
Hill Road. Continue to T intersection and turn right onto the Old Northern Rd and continue all the way to
Wisemans Ferry. When you reach the bottom of the big hill which descends into Wisemans Ferry turn left and
follow instructions 1 to 5 at bottom of page.
Penrith, Blue Mountains
Windsor
Via Windsor, Northern Road or Bells Line of Road, travel through Windsor via Macquarie St and turn right at T
intersection onto Windsor Rd, a short distance to McGraths Hill and left turn to Pitt Town, then follow
Wisemans Ferry Rd all the way to destination. When you reach the bottom of the big hill which descends into
Wisemans Ferry turn left and follow instruction 1 to 4 at bottom of page.
Newcastle, Central Coast
From the Freeway take the Peats Ridge exit and continue onto Wisemans Ferry Rd.
Continue on Wisemans Ferry road through Mangrove, Spencer and Gunderman until you arrive at the Ferry.
Cross the Hawkesbury River vie the ferry and drive through the town keeping right at the school and drive
down past the Police Station.
Follow instructions 1 to 4 at bottom of page; ignore the comment about the hotel.
1 If you have gone past the hotel in town you have turned the wrong way.
Having turned left you will go past the Police Station and continue 300 meters to Webbs Creek Ferry
and queue for ferry on left at sign.
2 Cross the Hawkesbury River on this ferry. (River crossing takes about 5 minutes, is free and runs 24
hours.)
3 After disembarking from the ferry on the other side, drive about 100 meters and turn left. This turn is
sign posted for Del Rio.
4 Continue on tar road for 2.5 klms and you have arrived at Del Rio
Please be aware that if using a GPS navigator and it is set up to avoid the ferry you may be taken hours
out of your way.

Extra Guest / Children

Extra adults are charged either $15-00 or $20-00 per night depending on the type of accommodation selected.
Children under the age of 5 are not charged for Children aged 5 -16 are $8-$15.
