COME AND CUDDLE UP TO A KOALA Koalas are on show all day everyday Shows are Daily at 10.20am 11.45am 2.00pm 3.00pm where you can cuddle, feed, pat, and have your photo taken with the Koalas. See free roaming Koalas as well, 10 acres of rainforest, eucaplypt grove and native gardens. walk in and pat our kangaroos, meet a wombat and chat to cockatoos, lots more to see and do Echidnas, Dingoes, Wedge Tailed Egals, Flying Foxes, Kookuburra, Emus, NEW SHEEP SHEARING SHOWS on daily at 10.30am 2.30pm try your hand at shearing.
Opened in 1930, Koala Park was the first private koala sanctuary in NSW and was founded by the late Noel Burnet. The preservation of the koala is the main theme of the park. Research and breeding in captivity programmes have been developed over the years to achieve this aim. Educating the public about koalas and other native marsupials is another facet of the park.
