The Sydney International Shooting Centre is a Sydney 2000 Olympic legacy venue. It is unique within Australia, courtesy of the electronic scoring system, which was installed for the Olympics.
The venue is available to licenced shooters and shooting clubs. The range is approved for use by overseas tourists aged 18 and over (subject to the conditions as outlined in Section 112 of the Firearms [general] Regulation 1997).
The centre is approved for use with air and rimfire rifle, and air, rimfire and centrefire pistol. While the Shooting Ranges are supported by Olympic-quality target and scoring equipment, the centre also takes a unique place in the history because it is home to the world’s first Finals Range, which combines 10-metre, 25-metre and 50-metre Ranges in one complex. SISC is open 6 days per week, including Saturdays and two nights per week.
