Deb’s Bed and Breakfast is a cute double storey cottage set in the historic town of New Norfolk on the Rivers Run Touring Trail just 30 minutes from Hobart.
The cottage is less than 50 metres from local pubs, clubs, restaurants and cafes and opposite the Visitor Information Centre and offers cosy, comfortable and affordable accommodation at only $95.00 per couple which includes a hearty continental breakfast.
Your resident host lives upstairs which leaves downstairs for you, the guests.
Deb’s Bed and Breakfast has two rooms available. The ’Shani Room’ has a queen bed and the ’Jade Room’ has two king size singles. Both rooms are spacious with television, hairdryer, electric blankets, heating and ironing facilities - just perfect for two couples travelling together or a family.
After a busy day of touring, drop off your luggage, freshen up or have a cuppa in your guest lounge, collect your key and walk to High Street (50 metres away).
You may choose to eat at one of the local eateries or pick up a takeaway or shop in the supermarket and cook in ’The Lodge’ - a rustic style fully equipped undercover barbecue area set in a country garden (everything is supplied except your food and drinks). Open a bottle of wine, light the woodfire and simply relax! This fabulous facility is available for guests who book two or more nights.
Deb’s Bed and Breakfast is in the heart of the beautiful Derwent Valley and a lovely five minute walk to the Derwent River or Devil Jet Boat rides. New Norfolk is 30 minutes from Mount Field National Park which includes Russell and Horseshoe Falls. The Salmon Ponds are nine kilometres away and if you are considering travelling to the West Coast, New Norfolk is the best major town before Queenstown and Strahan.
Deb’s Bed and Breakfast has only been open since January, 2004 but already has had many return visitors coming back for a close look at Tassie.
