Glen Derwent is a convict built, (circa 1820), Georgian style manor,Classified by The National Trust and included on the Heritage Council Register. This gracious and comfortable home is surrounded by elegant gardens, in a tranquil setting of twelve acres.
An ideal country alternative to Hobart (30 minutes from central Hobart and only 45 minutes to Hobart airport.), centrally located to all of southern Tasmanias attractions.

- The Scullery, a double room with open fireplace.
There are the two self catering cottages, which are Royal Automobile Club of Tasmania four star rated:
- The Tank Cottage, ideal for families with a double downstairs and three single beds upstairs; and
- The Masters Stables with a double bed upstairs and its private outlook making it an ideal hide-away for a romantic retreat or honeymoon.
