Coles Bay
Hazards Hideaway is an exclusive waterfront retreat perched above the scenic rocks of Great Oyster Bay, Freycinet on Tasmania’s east coast. The two separate sleeping houses, ’The Waterfront’ and ’The Boat House’, each offering its own bathroom facilities, are tastefully decorated and contain full cooking facilities. A few days relaxing at Hazards Hideaway may be all you need to recharge your batteries. You will experience the views of great Oyster Bay and the Hazards, the abundant bird life and regular seasonal sightings (May – October) of dolphins and whales…..right from your very own sitting chair or bed. If, however, this is not enough you can explore Coles Bay - only five minutes’ drive away. The town is the gateway to internationally renown Freycinet National Park, and you can start with a bushwalk or a climb up Mt Amos. A swim at Wineglass Bay, is a must - weather permitting. Due to the floor plan of separate sleeping areas and the proximity of the unfenced cliff, Hazards Hideaway is not suitable for young children.
