Quamby Pines Chalet is situated on 40 fertile acres in a beautiful valley only seven kilometres from Deloraine. Located midway between Launceston and Devonport, only 55 kilometres from each, it is an excellent base position to explore the whole of northern Tasmania. A two hour drive takes you to Cradle Mountain, travelling through lovely Mole Creek and majestic forests or via Sheffield, the ’Town of Murals’.
The Tamar Valley, with its wineries and superb eating houses is only one hours drive away. The northern beaches, around Devonport, can also be reached easily. For those interested in trying your luck on trout, or exploring the Great Western Tiers, the Great Lake is also about one hours drive away.
