Queechy Cottages, at St Helens on Tasmania’s sunny east coast, offer fully self-contained cottages and motel suites with fabulous bay views, just a short walk to the town centre.
The motel suites provide a superb comfort level for couples. Upstairs features a queen size bed, with ample luggage storage. A second television is provided along with bedside lamps and a clock radio.
Downstairs the lounge offers another television and DVD player. The kitchenette contains a microwave, toaster and kettle. All crockery and cutlery is provided. Reverse cycle air conditioning keeps the suites at a comfortable temperature. The bathroom is modern in design featuring a shower, toilet and basin with a heated towel rail. One suite also has a luxurious two person spa bath. What an ideal way to relax at the end of a long day!
The one, two and three bedroom cottages can accommodate couples or families. The main bedroom features a queen size bed, with ample luggage storage. Second and third bedrooms both contain two single beds.
The kitchen is fully equipped with hotplates, oven, microwave, kettle, toaster and electric fry pan. All crockery and cutlery are provided. The bathroom features a shower and basin. The toilet is separate. All towels and linen are provided and, upon request, a cot and highchair are available.
St Helens is the largest town on the east coast from where you can experience wonderful beaches (including the pristine Bay of Fires), huge sand dunes, good fishing and lovely scenery, both on the coast and inland.
