Three Willows Vineyard offers the perfect base when you are touring central and northwest Tasmania: Cradle Mountain, the Highland Lakes or Mole Creek cave country. You will find us in a picturesque working vineyard near Deloraine.
The farmhouse is stylish and well appointed with a queen-size bedroom with ensuite, private sitting room and separate entry. Other amenities include tea and coffee making equipment and supplies, bar fridge and microwave oven, television and DVD player, barbecue and outdoor living area.
A sumptuous breakfast served in your sitting room will ensure your energy levels remain high for the day’s touring.
We are winemakers and winemaking at Three Willows Vineyard is carried out in an unhurried traditional way. During vintage you might see me – your host Philip Pares - thigh deep in a vat, treading the pinot noir grapes to ensure a slow, even ferment. Later I gently press the skins with an old basket press. You may also have the opportunity to taste a barrel sample of a young pinot destined for a long life in a bottle.
Time – like our wine - is valued at Three Willows Vineyard and is never hurried. Remove your watch and relax: take a stroll to the top of the vineyard and look out to the peaks of the Great Western Tiers and the surrounding patchwork of farms and paddocks - let time look after itself.
