This vineyard was originally established by the Rhue family in the 1860's. Les Jones (Snr) purchased the property in 1927. Les (jnr) and his niece Mandy operate the smallest winery in Rutherglen (using traditional winemaking methods) with an area under vines of 17 hectares.

Some fermentation is carried out in the original wooden vats, which were installed in the 19th century. They provide a full range of styles - delicate Whites, full-bodied reds (made from Shiraz) and excellent ports and Sherries.

There is a barn built of hand-made bricks which is still a part of the existing winery and the original bark roof still lines the cellar and provides excellent insulation.
