Diverse habitats are protected here in the region’s largest coastal park. Coastal plains are set against a backdrop of rugged granite mountains rising abruptly in the distance. Swim in the deep pools of Alligator Creek.
Camp overnight at Alligator Creek campground and swim in the pools, or visit for the day and picnic among the gum trees. Look for agile wallabies, allied rock-wallabies and rufous bettongs feeding in the cool of the day. Go spotlighting for nocturnal animals. Meander along the creek to Alligator Falls.
