Wye River is set amongst the world famous Otway Ranges on the Great Ocean Road and there’s no better place to see it than from Wye River Tourist Park member of BIG4 Holiday Parks of Australia.

Surrounded by the magnificent Otway forest and set on 25 acres nestled in the Wye River Valley, our park offers the best of nature has to offer.

All of this and much more is within walking distance from your cabin or camping site, along with a fantastic play area with our Giant Jumping Pillow for the children.

We have a great range of cabins and river side camping to choose from with plenty of facilities onsite that will ensure that your time at BIG4 Wye River Tourist Park is either as adventure packed or relaxing as you want it to be.

Two hours drive from Melbourne between Lorne and Apollo Bay is the most Spectacular stretch of the Great Ocean Road where cliffs rise above rocky shores and sandy beaches. At the heart of this truly amazing place is the little seaside village of Wye River.

In any language, the beaches, surf, fishing, forests, rivers and abundant wildlife are among the most beautiful on the planet. There is wild life aplenty to see all year round such as koalas, kangaroos, echidnas, birds galore and in the winter seasons the southern right whales and the possible pod of dolphins passing by.

The Little Village of Wye River consists of a General Store, Cafe (seasonal) and the Wye Beach Hotel which has spectacular views over Wye River all within a 1 minute walk from your accommodation.

Our Park is AAAT 4 star rated with 26 cabins and a luxury Beach House all ranging from budget - luxury accommodation.

Our cabins range from 2 - 6 berth with our beach house 10 berth.

All cabins have full kitchen facilities.

Ensuite cabins are supplied with linen for the main bed, heating & air conditioning.

Our Beach House is a fully equipped house with it’s own private yard, carports, balconies, BBQ, Laundry, Ensuite bathroom in master bedroom, 3 bedrooms all with bedding supplied, full kitchen with dishwasher, TV, DVD, stereo and open plan living area with views of the beach. All this with the freedom to use all the parks facilities.

How to get to BIG4 Wye River Tourist Park
From the Melbourne Airport by car: follow the hwy out until you see a sign for Geelong. Turn and stay on the Princes Hwy until you reach Geelong and see a sign for the Great Ocean Road. Follow this road all the way to Wye River.
Vline Buses run from Melbourne and Geelong Train station along the Great Ocean Road 4 times a day on weekdays, 2 times a day on weekends and stops outside our Tourist Park.

Out and About
Wye River is situated in perhaps the most spectacular stretch of the Great Ocean Road. Wye River offers a safe swimming beach, great fishing, great walks, fantastic food and accommodation. Along with Wye Rivers Historical Past there is much more to see.

SEE & DO
Wye River Heritage Walk - Wye River
Discover the historical side of Wye River with a 1.5hr loop around the Town.
Paddy’s Path – Wye River
Take a 20min walk to separation Creek where once the tramline ran.
Koalas & Glow Worms – Kennett River
Take a 10min drive to Grey River Road and discover the koala breeding ground or glow worms at night.
Bird Watching – Wye River
Birds such as the Gang Gang, King Parrots, Rosella’s, Yellow tailed Black Cockatoo and hundreds more.
Sheoak Falls – 10mins from Wye River
Take the tranquil walk through to Sheoak falls.
Paradise – 45mins
While you’re passing through Apollo Bay, take a short detour to Paradise where you could stop and have a picnic, have Devonshire tea at paradise café or explore Mariners falls.
Wye River is set between Lorne and Apollo Bay.
Lorne is situated 15 Kilometres along the Great Ocean Road and is great for cafe's & boutique shopping.
Apollo Bay is Situated 27 kilometres from Wye River. This town is great for a long walk along there beach while taking in the sweeping views of the Otway’s.
Continuing on the Great Ocean Road will take you to the Otway Fly. This tree top walk takes you 25 meters above the ground to give you a close up view of the rainforests in the Otway Ranges.
From there you can continue on to the
12 Apostles, loch Ard Gorge, Gibson Steps or many other icons of the Great Ocean Road.
