’Barringo Mist’ offers nothing! No stress. No work pressures. No city traffic. Okay we admit, we offer a few things: - a romantic ambience, fresh mountain air, peace and quiet, a hearty breakfast, wine on arrival and some extra surprises in our detached, self-contained cedar loft. Barringo Mist is a fully self contained cedar loft detached from the main house, located in the tiny hamlet of Cherokee in the Macedon ranges. Your accommodation includes a queen size bed, ensuite with double shower, lounge/dinning area, undercover parking, and a fully equipped kitchenette to cook your generous breakfast provisions. Dine at one of the local restaurants or cook in the undercover BBQ and courtyard at your leisure or in your kitchenette We must warn you that some noises will be heard, kookaburra laugh, magpie warble, parrots chatter, wombats walking up the hill for their nightly feed, wallabies heading towards the creek for a drink. A short country drive to the local attractions include Hanging rock (but don’t get lost), Mount Macedon memorial cross, Barringo wildlife park and many wineries to visit. Woodend, Romsey and Riddells Creek have all retained a country village feel where specialised shopping can be found.
