A unique high-quality mountainside Inn, First opened in 1999, just 50 minutes drive from the Melbourne CBD yet part of another world. Tucked into a secluded corner of the Macedon Regional Park and high above Hanging Rock and the beautiful Hesket Valley, Blue Ridge has just 8 classic rooms, all with QS beds and extraordinary views. Rooms gave spacious ensuite bathrooms and are fully equipped to first-class city hotel standards. All furniture is by Nicholas Dattner and includes a proper dining table for two.
Both sitting rooms have open fires and an atmosphere of gracious but relaxed comfort. Notable furniture and artworks abound and an impressive dining room can be the setting for intimate dinners or grand banquets. Dining is by prior arrangement. Blue Ridge Inn is renowned for its fine food, wine, and exceptional service, and is recommended by The Age, The Sydney Morning Herald and The Times of London. AAA Rating 4.5 stars.

How to get to Blue Ridge Inn
By car from Melbourne:
Take the Tullamarine then Calder Freeway (direction Bendigo)
Take the Macedon/Mt. Macedon exit (C322) just past Gisborne. Proceed for 12.2 kms on Mt. Macedon Road (up and over the top of the mountain). Blue Ridge is on the second of 2 hairpin bends on the northern face of the mountain.

By car from Melbourne Airport:
Take the Tullamarine Freeway (direction City/Melbourne). Take the Western Ring Road exit (direction Princes Fwy/Geelong). Take the Calder Fwy exit (direction Bendigo). Take the Macedon/Mt. Macedon exit (C322) just past Gisborne. Proceed for 12.2 kms on Mt. Macedon Road (up and over the top of the mountain). Blue Ridge is on the second of 2 hairpin bends on the northern face of the mountain.

By train from Melbourne:
Take one of the regular Bendigo trains from Spencer Street station to Woodend. We will pre-arrange transfer to Blue Ridge.

Out and About
Blue Ridge Inn is at the centre of the Macedon Ranges' Wine Region. The nearest cellar door is just a few minutes walk and all other area wineries are easily accessible. The Inn sits midway between the villages of mount Macedon and Woodend, and the iconic Hanging Rock is clearly in view and less than a 5 minutes drive. Mount Macedon is renowned for its Hill Station gardens all of which are just minutes away. The Lancefield Farmers' Market (4th Saturday of each month) is a pleasant 15 minute drive and the Spa centre of Daylesford/Hepburn Springs can be reached in 35 minutes.
