We are 150 kms north of Melbourne up the safe Hume Highway. Trains run here regularly and we are happy to collect guests from the station if that has been pre-arranged.

Out and About |
|
Euroa has a very interesting history and you could easily spend a day wandering round the varied shops, the museum, the historic buildings and the beautiful Seven Creeks Park. Further afield, the Strathbogie Ranges stretch behind us. These are easily accessible, relatively low granite ranges with some fascinating rock and boulder formations, lots of wildlife including echidnas and koalas. There are interesting galleries, wineries and bush walks. For the more adventurous there are aerial pursuits such as sky diving and gliding. Ned Kelly roamed these parts in the 1800s and he also robbed the National Bank in Euroa in 1878. There are old gold mines, crystal mines and lots more. If you wished to venture further afield, there are two renowned wineries at Nagambie (Mitchelton and Chateau Tahbilk) and a very pleasant day could be spent visiting them and cruising up the Goulburn River from one to the other.
