Old World charm maintained - four bedrooms: three with en-suites and balconies, lounge with open fireplace and piano, dining room, fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, laundry, verandah, patio and stone barbecue area overlooking the gently flowing river. The delightful two-acre heritage garden featuring stonework, rare and unusual plants, majestic trees, the fern river walk, undulating lawns surrounds the house. A wonderland of birds and wildlife. A female platypus has a nesting chamber in the garden and can be seen from October till March at dusk and dawn feeding in the river beside the garden. Eilean Donan is a tranquil and romantic setting with a strong historic connection to the local area, which is yours alone to enjoy for the length of your stay. An ideal place for a group of friends to get together. family reunion, a group of bushwalkers (tracks to walk include both ranges and coastal) or just a very romantic stay for two, wanting to completely relax and unwind in this beautiful part of Gippsland.
