Grand Canyon Motel is a smoke-free environment nestled in the rugged mountain ranges of the Grampians National Park at Halls Gap, a comfortable 600 metres stroll to the shops. The mystical Grampians is 167,000 hectares of stunning wildflowers displays, endless walking tracks and breathtaking views. Home to a third of Victoria’s plant species, the Grampians National Park is also the home to numerous species of Australian wildlife. Other attractions include nearby historic cities of Stawell and Ararat as well as the Great Grape Trail. We are currently undergoing Stages 1 and 2 of a 5 Stage renovation, and thank guests for their patience during this time.

How to get to Grand Canyon Motel
Coming by car from Melbourne you can take the scenic route from Ararat to Halls Gap, or take the Western Highway to Stawell and turn off at the Halls Gap turnoff to the left. Coming from South Australia you take the Western Highway to Stawell and turnoff to the right to Halls Gap. Coming from Warrnambool or Hamilton you come through Dunkeld and take the road to Halls Gap.
If coming by V/Line you take the train either to Ballarat or Ararat and V/Line Bus to Stawell then the bus from Stawell (need to check with V/Line either on Internet or by telephone).
