Melissia House is a small getaway in the Mornington Peninsula. Offering cosy self contained accommodation that will be your home away from home. The house is undergoing renovation works to offer modern and relaxing living with plenty of outdoor space. It is centrally located to shops and restaurants and is within walking distance to the beach. The house will have all new furnishings with a modern fully equipped kitchen. Bed and bath linen is supplied so all you need to bring is your desire to relax and enjoy your holiday in the Mornington Peninsula. The house can accommodate up to 8 people and is suited to groups or families as well as couples as they enjoy the cosy hassle free atmosphere. You can take your time to explore the Mornington Peninsula famous attractions including the Red Hill wineries, Cape Schanck and Mornington Peninsula National Parks, Ashcombe Maze, Moonah Links and local golf courses. The local safety beach is within walking distance however a short drive takes you to various surf beaches and popular beaches at Rye, Sorrento and Portsea. The Sorrento Ferry can take you to historic Queenscliff where you can access the Surf Coast and Great Ocean Road. Rosebud is a great gateway to Port Phillip Bay and is well known for fishing and boating activities. So come and try your luck! There are also some great catches off the local jetty. The house is situated on a large block so if all you want to do is re-energize it provides ample space for sitting on the patio and taking in the sea breeze, BBQ’s and space for kids to play. Complimentary breakfast provisions for first night are also provided with a selection of local produce for tasting. Melissia House will be available from September 2006.
