These quality, 41/2 star, contemporary studios, nestle into 10 acres of bushland and are the perfect secluded getaway for Couples. Located in Bright and designed by the owners Andrew and Jeanette (an Architect and an Interior designer), the studios are a striking example of Australian corrugated iron architecture that complements the surrounding bush landscape. The Odd Frog secluded studio amenities include queen size bed, wood heater, spa (Studio 2, 3 & 5), stereo, television, video or DVD, personal barbecue facilities, private car park and tea and coffee facilities (Studio 1) kitchen (Studio2 & 3). Enjoy a delicious breakfast basket on the private balcony or in front of the toasty wood fire. Observe the stars and wildlife through the telescope, or stroll 900 metres into the township to nearby shops, restaurants and cafes. The 10 acre property is registered as ’Land for Wildlife’ (lots of flora and fauna) and provides a unique nature experience with walking and cycling tracks passing through the property into the adjoining Crown bushland reserves. The studios are designed to capture sunlight and amazing north facing views! (the studios are the highest elevated buildings in Bright). Each studio is separated from one another by at least 60 metres to provide privacy, seclusion and tranquillity. They have been constructed and operated using ’best practice’ ecotourism principles including an on-site greywater recycling system, solar hot water and ’Green Power’. Building materials including Jarrah, Rammed Earth, Hoop Pine Plywood, Rendered Polystyrene and Corrugated Iron have been utilised to create a warm, earthy and visually stunning interior that is totally unique to The Odd Frog. Treat yourself to a new experience and stay in somewhere totally out of the ordinary - somewhere groovy, contemporary, secluded, environmentally friendly and totally original. Stay at The Odd Frog!
