’Rendezvous on Murchison’ is pure luxury. Three charming, romantic, individual cottages, all designed to pamper couples. ’Monet’ and ’Renoir’ cottages are cosy and luxurious, each with a quality leather sofa in front of the entertainment unit and wood fire. The queen-sized bed occupies a separate but still open plan section of the cottage and the ensuite with double spa and shower recess is particularly spacious. ’Camille’, our newest cottage, has a luxurious king-sized spa with maxi-jets, a romantic Laura Ashley old-world bed, elegant decor including a Moran leather sofa with quality linen and furnishings. All cottages are air-conditioned for your comfort. Each cottage offers privacy, magnificent views, terraced gardens and a patio for alfresco living. A delicious home cooked breakfast, included in the tariff, is served to guests in their cottage at a time to suit. The cottages have light cooking facilities with a microwave, tea and coffee making facilities plus plunger coffee, a toaster, cutlery, crockery, kitchen sink and a refrigerator. BBQ’s on cottage verandahs. Eateries in the village are a pleasant four minute stroll away. Television, VCR, DVD and CD all add to your pleasure - we have a free selection of the latest DVD’s A legendary place for romance, Marysville has many attractions including the Steavenson Falls which are floodlit at night, Lake Mountain which is famous for its cross-country skiing in winter and magnificent for bush-walking in other seasons, Lady Talbot Drive with its spectacular walks to falls through fern gullies and across babbling streams winding its way to ’The Beeches’ an ancient, awe-inspiring Myrtle Beech forest with many trees over 300 years old, covered with epiphytic mosses and ferns and then Keppels Lookout offering a breath-taking vista over the entire region.
