Holberry House,
Nannup
14 Grange Road
Nannup
Midway from the Margaret River Wine Region to the Walpole Tree Top Walk, Nannup is a central base to explore the South West attractions, or is a delightful destination in its own right.
Purpose built in 1985, classified as a guesthouse or private small hotel, the emphasis is to offer relaxing and peaceful accommodation with warm and friendly service.
Holberry House was built as a classic English Manor and features seven elegantly appointed queen size guest rooms, each with its own bathroom. One room has a double corner spa. The rooms are individually furnished with antiques and have air-conditioning and heating. Downstairs is a large guest lounge with open log fire, conservatory, library and dining room. There is a pool for summer relaxation. The gardens at Holberry House are an escape in themselves. Set on four acres of parkland gardens with a winter brook and mature tree plantings there are many tranquil spots to sit quietly with a book or to watch the well fed ducks, wrens, moorhens and honeyeaters. The garden is regularly open as part of the Blackwood River Festival of Country gardens.
Situated in the town centre of Nannup it is a short stroll to the art and woodcraft galleries, restaurants, antiques shops and wineries. There are many walk trails both along the Blackwood River and through the hilltops and forests surrounding the townsite.
Some of the many attractions in the area include trout fishing, chestnut picking, horse riding, canoeing, marron farms, wine tasting and art gallery browsing. Experience nature first hand with bird watching, wildflowers and bushwalking along the Blackwood River and the Bibbulmun Track. Nannup is the gateway to some of Western Australia’s most treasured scenic drives, taking the picturesque waterfalls and scenery on the way to Balingup, Bridgetown and Pemberton.
