How to get to Kendenup Lodge

Kendenup Lodge is situated at the base of the mighty Stirling Range, four and a half hours south of Perth, half an hour from Albany.
Self drive is recommended to take full advantage of the passing landscapes or fly down with Skywest to Albany airport (flight duration is 40 minutes)and we will pick you up.

Out and About

By far the most striking feature of the property is the commanding views of the Stirling Range and its proximity to this significant natural attraction. Sitting across golden paddocks, the range rises majestically from the horizon and is reason enough for visiting the property. Collect a picnic hamper from the Lodge Hall and spend a day in the great outdoors. Home to no less than 1500 species of plants, 87 of which are unique to the area, the Stirling Range lies within one of the country’s most precious national parks. Walk trails, mountain hiking, wildflower gazing and bird watching are just some of the activities available. Kendenup Lodge and Cottages is happy to provide advice on the best places for each.

The property is a great place to explore other attractions including natural and gourmet treasures in the region. The following activities are easily accessible:
- Whale watching cruises from Albany
- Pat a joey kangaroo at nearby Uralla Roo Park
- Dive on scuttled navy ship, HMAS Perth
- Sample fresh local produce and award winning wines at one of the local wineries

Country Living: The country town location of Kendenup Lodge and Cottages is another major drawcard. Other accommodation houses in nearby Albany can’t match the space, fresh air and natural beauty on offer at Kendenup. Sheep and cows feeding on dewy green paddocks lie just over the fence and make for a relaxing vista. While guests will often to travel to Albany for a day trip, most seek an authentic country escape – and they find it at Kendenup Lodge and Cottages.

Our Lodge accommodation is ideally suited for corporates. With internet access to all rooms, large screen projectors in the function rooms and after a hard days work relax in our spa or sauna. For the corporate events guests can dine comfortably in our 200 or 50 person function centre, have a quiet drink by the bar with all services provided
