Busselton
Mandalay Holiday Resort and Tourist Park is situated two and a half hours drive south of Perth and four kilometres west of Busselton town centre, towards Dunsborough. We are right opposite the beach overlooking Geographe Bay, which is a 70 kilometre long white safe sandy beach with a northerly aspect which means the water is mostly calm. It is ideal for swimming, fishing, snorkelling, crabbing and sailing through summer and fishing, crabbing and beachcombing through winter.
We offer a range of family style accommodation to suite every budget from two storey luxury spa villas with a view of the beach, two and three bedroom chalets (some with spas), caravan, camping and motor home sites. Mandalay has resort facilities including two pools, (one of which is an indoor heated pool), games room, shop, two playgrounds, a large central playing field, volleyball, undercover barbecues and television lounge with internet access, all set amongst shady peppermint trees and immaculate lawns and gardens. During your stay you can hire a bike from Mandalay and take the scenic route to town via the beach on the safe cycling paths.
Mandalay is right at the gateway to the Margaret River Wine Region. As most of the vineyards are located in the Busselton, Dunsborough area, you can take a winery tour or drive yourself leisurely around, browsing the galleries, caves, craft shops, chocolate, candy and cheese outlets.
The region has spectacular scenery from calm waters of Geographe Bay to rugged surf beaches of Yallingup, Cape Naturaliste and south to Cape Leeuwin. The Busselton Jetty is a star attraction with the underwater observatory a must see.
Bushwalking is popular in the forest between Busselton, Nannup and Augusta, and fruit picking in the neighbouring towns of Donnybrook, Bridgetown and Balingup.
