Built in 1841 and currently being restored to its original elegance, this classical Colonial Georgian building with its spacious lounges and open fireplaces offers a range of comfortable accommodation to suite all requirements, excellent cuisine and traditional country hospitality.
Established in 1841 by Thomas Jecks, the Hotel has been extensively renovated by the current management and offers accommodation ranging from quality motel to luxury heritage rooms. As well, the Hotel is ideal for conferences, weddings and meetings with 4 function areas to choose from.
Located at the gateway to the Swan Valley, the historic Rose & Crown has, for over one & a half centuries, provided a welcome resting place for travellers and tourists.
Our 1841 causal elegant Georgian restaurant provides the best quality modern Australian comfort food from our award-winning chef or dine in the best beer garden in Perth.
Located in the Hotel’s cellar, the Tunnel Bar offers a unique atmosphere. The original convict built well was used by the Hotel to draw water and brew it’s own fine ales. It is still working, and remnants of the tunnel linking the Hotel with the Swan River are still visible although sealed off. We now brew a large range of the finest ales, counter snacks and fascinating historical atmosphere, we recommend winding-down or winding-up in the Convict’s Bar.
One of the attractions of the Rose & Crown Hotel is the lovely garden. Established when the hotel was built, the garden offers a pleasant venue for a relaxing coffee or cool drink. The garden is also available for social, staff and business functions. |
