Settlers’ House, built by the Craig family in 1845, is nestled in the heart of Historic York, a lesiurely and scenic 90 minute drive from Perth, WA.

Settlers’ House offers its guests a relaxing time away, featuring 18 beautiful suites in classic colonial decor, ensuites, air conditioning, heating, televisions, ceiling fans, coffee and tea facilities, and wide verandas.

The suite itself is two rooms; a larger room with the queen bed, television, etc, and a smaller room with a single bed. Complete with a full sized wardrobe and dresser, this suite is large enough to accommodate the entire family. Doors open up onto the private courtyard as well as the Inkpen Courtyard at the front of the property.

    All our suites will hold a maximum of 4 guests, however most are set up for just 2 without the addition of roll away beds. Some suites, such as our family suites will hold more. No additional charge for up to 4 guests per room although roll away beds are an additional $20.

    Parking is situated at the rear of Settlers' House, away from the hustle and bussle of the main street.


    How to get to Settlers House
    Drive to Midland along the Great Eastern Highway. Continue along the Great Eastern Highway through the beautiful Western Australian country side to The Lakes Road House. Turn right and its straight through to York.

    Once in York turn left into the main street, Avon Terrace. Settlers House is 125 Avon Terrace almost directly across from the famous York Motor Museum.
