One of the most beautiful yachts ever built in Australia, Windjammer is a classic example of elegant lines and fine craftsmanship. With a design similar to the trading schooners that worked the Grand Banks of the North Atlantic for over 200 years, these classic schooners, handled by small crews, formed the hub of the trading industry and were the basis for a thousand books written on small sailing ships. Windjammer epitomises the grandest of schooner qualities. With her 2,000 feet of sail area and raked masts, she is a spectacular sight.
Windjammer’s interior is New Guinea rosewood with brass fittings, displaying a timeless elegance reminiscent of a bygone era. There are comfortable lounge and dining areas below deck with a choice of accommodation in stateroom, twin or three share cabin. The large alfresco dining and lounging area on deck is perfect for long relaxed lunches, dinner under the stars, or just curling up with your favourite book.
With the services of three crew and a maximum of nine guests this cruise offers total relaxation with an emphasis on good food and friendly personalised service. Set your own pace, active or relaxed. Snorkel over coral reefs, hike national park trails, stroll one of the many secluded beaches or just relax on board and absorb the Whitsunday panorama.
Windjammer caters for a maximum of nine guests in either a stateroom with queen size bed or double and twin cabins. The vessel also features an alfresco dining area.
