The Stansbury Museum is situated in the original school and headmaster’s residence. It holds a comprehensive display on the history and industry of our town.
A collections room includes a display of dolls, clocks, rocks, bottles and cameras, a dress room as well RSL (Returned Services League) memorabilia and a sharing of their legacy walk. The other rooms have been furbished to recreate our early times.
There is also a large shed with displays of farming utensils, engines, a scale model of Riddle Windmill and much more. Cemetery records are held in the reading/research room.
The museum is open daily during January and tours are available by prior arrangement.
